Does Language Reactor Work on Disney+ or Prime Video?

FluentAI TeamPublished August 31, 2026

No. Language Reactor does not work on Disney+ or Amazon Prime Video. It is a Netflix and YouTube overlay for Chrome. Language Reactor's own FAQ says Disney+, Prime Video, and Android are not supported yet. There is no official workaround.

That is the whole first-screen answer. The rest of this page is what actually works if your shows have moved off Netflix, including FluentAI on Chrome and Firefox, and how Lingopie is a different product class.

Why This Query Exists

A lot of the catalog people used to watch on Netflix now lives on Disney+, Prime Video, or HBO Max. Dual-subtitle habits do not automatically follow the show. If Language Reactor never loaded on those players, it is not a settings bug. The product does not support those sites.

What Actually Works on Disney+ and Prime Video

This table is overlay tools only: extensions that sit on video you already pay for. Catalog apps are a different class.

  • FluentAI: Disney+ and Prime Video, plus Netflix, YouTube, and HBO Max. Official Chrome and Firefox
  • Trancy: Disney+ yes on their docs list of eight; Prime Video is not on that canonical list. Official Chrome and Firefox. Mobile video is YouTube-only (not Netflix or Disney+)
  • Migaku: Disney+ yes; Prime Video no; Chrome only
  • Sabi and Sublo: exist as overlay-class tools; one-line mention only, this page is not about them
  • Lingopie: different class. Paid catalog, plus a membership add-on on select Netflix and Disney+ titles, not a free overlay of your existing queue

HBO Max

Language Reactor does not list HBO Max. FluentAI does, on Chrome and Firefox, alongside Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Disney+.

Firefox

Even on Netflix and YouTube, Language Reactor has no official Firefox extension. That is a separate job. Do not retell it here.

If the Job Is Keep My Netflix, Prime, and Disney+

If you want to keep the subscriptions you already pay for and learn on top of them, that is the overlay class. FluentAI is built for that: dual subtitles, TTS, and unlimited flashcards start free on Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, and HBO Max. Word analysis and sentence mining are paid. Neural transcriptions are Pro. Flashcards are not a paid unlock.

Install FluentAI on Chrome or Firefox and try it on the service you actually watch.
